A quality vocalist who performs songs with heart, rhythm & soul captivating audiences with her unique sound. Singing popular tunes from Fleetwood Mac to Eva Cassidy & ABBA to Lily Allen, Jenine has the song choices and vocal ability to accommodate everyone's tastes. After many years of experience she has the ability to gauge an audience and set the right ambiance to suit any venue. Jenine also has a range of songs suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Jenine first performed on stage at the age of 10 to her first paying audience at the Civic Centre in Rotorua, NZ. Her love of performing started instantly. By the age of 12 Jenine started competing in many competitions throughout NZ. Winning numerous awards including in "The Golden Clef" (Rotorua, NZ), "The Auckland Awards" (Auckland,NZ), "The Taupo Awards" (Taupo, NZ). By 16 years of age she had won over 30 awards including the prestigious "NZ Junior Entertainer of the Year".
At the age of 16 she moved to Australia ready to take on new challenges. Her first award was the Tamworth RSL Entertainer of the Year, Best New Talent at the age of 17. Jenine then branched out into new areas of music and discovered a love for Musical Theatre. She has performed in such roles as "Daisy Mae" in "L'il Abner", "Sandy" in "Greased Lightning" (a musical tribute to Grease), a lead vocalist in the Gold Coast Arts Centre show "The Beat Goes On".
For the last 8 years she has been a lead vocalist for one of Queenslands leading corporate bands "Platinum Edge". Performing throughout Queensland and overseas. Performing to audiences ranging from 100 - 1000, clients include Qantas Holidays, Brisbane Convention Centre, Movieworld, Dreamworld, Seaworld, Couran Cove Resort, McDonalds, NRMA, Telstra & many more. One of the band's specialties is themed events from 70's Disco to Moulin Rouge. As a lead vocalist, Jenine cover's almost every genre of music, jazz, pop, rock, musical theatre as well as providing harmonies for other vocalist.
Jenine also performs along side fellow vocalist Caroline Taylor and Celisa Urech known as BLUSH DIVA'S performing cabaret style themed shows from Supremely Sixties to Disco Inferno......check the "Gig Guide" page for upcoming shows.
Throughout Jenine's singing career she has performed in many bands in clubs, pubs, restaurants and tribute shows including a "Kylie Minogue Tribute". Jenine has also gained extensive experience as a public speaker, MC and compere for various shows.
